| Kill is kind of an understatement, more like destroyed. Lol. I have a buddy with an 01 GTP two door, and his car has light mods. He has a homemade cai, plugs, t-stat, ZZP 2.5 DP, flowmaster 40's, and a 3.4" pulley. My car is a 98 GTP 4 door and is decently modded. It has a JMB FWI, plugs, t-stat, throttle body spacer, ZZP 1.0 PCM, ZZP 2.5 DP, SLP cat-back exhaust and a 3.4" pulley. So it was about 9:30 or so at night and i texted him and said wanna race? and he calls me and asks where i'm at, so we hooked up at a fireworks stand in my town and headed out. In my town of about 2500 people there is a stretch of highway called 3 mile lane, which is basically flat for, well, 3 miles. Most of it runs through the town, but the last stretch heading out of town is about 1.5 miles long and is completely open. So we went to D highway and pulled over till no cars where visible in the 1/4 mi stretch that is visible. And we finally got rollin and did a 35 mph roll, 3 honks, and gunned, well his car didn't downshift lol, so we scratched that run. Next run we did the same 35 mph, and we both put it in 1st, 3 honks, and gunned, as i approached 2nd i threw it in drive and let the tranny do the rest, all i saw were headlights in the mirror!!! We did that 2 more times, each time i smoked him. Then finally we decided to go from a dig. So we stopped, 3 honks, gunned it and still he was at my rear quarter half way through 1st, and once i hit 2nd i was atleast 3-4 lengths ahead. Well, i know it's a long story, but i was pretty pumped that he had no chance, and it was a heck of a lot of fun, now i plan on racing my other friend's VW R32. Oh and after we got done playing around he texts me and goes "Ya, your car is pretty fast..." |

| Wow 3-4 car lengths? If I'm right it looks like the only difference in ur guys cars is u have a pcm tuned. I'm surprised u pulled him so hard. Must have been a sh!tty driver. If u don't know how to launch these cars ull get eatin up. All the lower end torque makes us burn tires off the line |

| Just wondering wtf is up with the 2.5" downpipes...weaksauce. And that probably means he is knocking like a mother fugga if you put car lengths on him with a ZZP PCM...I'd rather have a stock one.

| What's up with 2.5 inch dp's? it's cheaper and it's just a temporary to get past the u-bend until i get headers. The reason i did pull so much on him was clearly due to his knock, he has an open cone intake off a POS "pipe" off the tb, and also the ZZP tune, yes isn't great by any means, but it IS better than stock. With my 98 and zzp pcm i can choose between stock and ZZP tune with the performance shift, and it is a noticable difference. You can't call weaksauce to a person explaining an effing story, again a 2.5 dp is my cheapest solution right now to no headers. When i get my headers, probably SLP's or Pacesetters, i'll have a 3" DP to mate with the rest of my SLP 3" exhaust. |

| The 2.5 is fine if ur just waiting on headers, I've never had personal experience with the ZZP PCM but I've seen many stories on here of them blowing engines.

| Just saying, why skimp? Especially when boosted the easier power is made with better exhaust flow...
