If you put straight pipes in for your mufflers it will be very loud, obviously. It will sound real good at idle but probably not very good when you get on the gas as these motors usually don't. Also, i could only imagine the drone in the car would drive you crazy. As much as i like a loud deep sounding exhaust, the words loud and good sound don't seem to go together with the 3800.

that's older than one I raced with my 05 mustang 4.0. It was a 2000 GT ram air and I left it by four cars before the end of the intersection. Now that I have a GTP that can smoke my old mustang I'm pretty sure that your Prix vs. his grand am was no fair race. Those am's are really slow all around... Not to take away from your win. I get people in am's and other prix's and other random cars that sometimes just need to be put back in thier place.

As far as the 3800 sounding bad loud... I have Borlas and LOVE the sound. Awesome at idle, lose some 3-4k RPMs but after that.....LOUD and DEEP! Sucks 3-4RPMs the sound kinda goes pffft.

150 in a 94 grand am? He'd be lucky to get to 125 haha. Ask him what mountain he was driving down when he went 150. Even basic 3.4 pullied GTP's have trouble hitting 150.
