Ive had my 98gtp since april,this was the first time i raced anyone.a late 70s or early 80s Z28 comes next to me...beautiful flawless black repaint,nice wheels and big tires,but jacked a little too high in the back,imo,very loud exhaust and a manual trans...he lets me know he wants to go,so we both nail it at 25mph...we're side bt side up to bout 65...came up on traffic...so slowed down tobout 15mph...hit it again this tim e my little pontiac pulled a fender on him at first then streched it out to a whole car length by 75mph...he was hitting gears pretty good,chirping the tires every gear..but the gtp just hunkered down and left him...in a real ss1/4 drag ida owned him cuz i dont think he coulda launched it with his a$$end so high...it was a great rush to hear that V8 roaring...BEHIND ME!!!
ps my gtp is bone stock cept for a KN filter so i can hear it whine
