Default Dodge Ram

i was at my friends house one day just chillin in his garage and his friend comes over. he has a dodge ram with a 5.9L. my one friend suggests that we should race one day and the guy wit the Ram acts as if my car is a slow piece of sh*t. all i have done is a 3.4 pulley, CAI, resonator delete, 180 thermo and colder plugs. does anybody think hes crazy or are the rams pretty fast?

the rams are dogs compared to the gtp even stock. unless it's an srt-10 you'll smoke him. my dad has the 5.9 ram and my 97 sable could beat it

The dakota's with the 5.9 are quick because of their weight. A full size with the 5.9 are slow as hell. My bro in law had one, 2wd and regular cab. Said he could smoke my ram. Mine is 4wd, quad cab with the 5.7. So my wife lines up beside him, yes my wife, i was deployed at the time. He heats up his tires and the wife jjust sits there. They take off, she lets him get the jump, reels him in and blows his doors off with about 7 lenghts. So in other words, just go out there and put him in his place.

I raced one in my car and its pretty much stock and I didn't have a problem leaving him from a dead stop.

dodge trucks make good power but im pretty sure the transmissions eat up a huge amount of it.

They may be heavy, but I still seem to blow alot of the 2wd trucks out the water. All I have is exhaust, intake, and stock 392's.

personally i like the SRT8 grand cherokee. those things rip. the ford lightnings arent too bad either. its not too hard to get horsepower out of them. it's pretty hard to compare cars to trucks

Yeah, the SRT8 Cherokee's are sweet. I was comparing my 05 4X4 Ram to 2wd trucks. Don't get me wrong, I know there are some bad@$$ trucks out there, but, I was just talking about your normal everyday truck.
