Default The First ZZP's aluminum valve covers finished

First ones ever finished, correctly, to say the least.

Before:

After I got my hands on them:

That last picture made me smile, didn't plan on having the tree in my front yard in the reflection on the last picture.

IMO this is how they should of came from ZZP. But thats just me. These will have chrome bolts being sent back with the finished covers to the owner of these.

I remember when ZZPs covers were released and the thread started about them on CGP every one had questions and what not. One was will these include chrome bolts? Zooomer replied flat out "No, don't want to mess with them" or something like that. Right then, called ED and had several sets of bolts along with some other stuff sent my way. I posted that I could handle the plating of some stock bolts because ZZP would not. I don't think they liked that too much.

What the bolts look like:

Going to look bad ass on his engine to say the least, cant wait to see the installed pictures myself. What do you all think?

Now that is what Im talking about. Dont know if those are mine or not but either way they look freaking awsome. Man what a difference from what ZZP sent me and what you had done to them.

If I remember correctly from the post CGP didnt some one say they wouldnt turn out that good due to them being a cast part? Well I guess you really proved them wrong.

Great work

Yup, those are your valve covers man, hope you enjoy.

You are correct, I too remember reading that too, that somebody said you can't shine a casted part as good as a billet part. I agreed with that, but you can shine cast aluminum to make it look dang near chrome plated. These covers have LOTS of room for improvement from when they leave ZZP. If these were billet aluminum, then they would would be even "OMG"! Kinda like AnimuL's billet covers. Those had a damn nice finish on them.

Yup...owned who ever said that it couldn't be done.
