I painted the aluminum mount that mount directly on the engine. I just have one question, the color on the raised lettering. I am going with either black or silver/chrome.
I vote for silver.

Finally, all done. The only thing left, is the bottom part of the fuse relay box. Tell me what you think?

Looks pretty good, I'd just take the engine cover off completely and do away with it though.

Just becuase it'd look much better in my opinion. Kind of like the supercharged cars look much better with it gone as well.

Well that would require me to clean that under shield area up. That may be a good thing for my neighbor to do as I am polishing his car for the car show in two weeks.

Well after many rookies moves, a buddy that is going to help out, is going to sandblast all the mounts and brackets and plastic blast the fuse and heat shield and prepare them to paint.

He is a pro autobody painter and is willing to paint these for me. Also, he is going to help paint the lower bumper, back bumper and spray the inside hood and paint the hood liner black and spray the Pontiac arrowhead on the hood liner.

I have one option. I would either do one of three things with the dog bone mount that secures to the frame, paint that all red, inside part red and outer part black or reversed. Also, in limbo on the heat shield. Black or red. The letters will be reversed and on the inside edge of the bumps, paint that the opposite as well.

Thoughts??

Here's what I did a few years back. Planning on re-doing these this winter...along with some other painting and updates underhood.
