Question Changing headlights

No comments that I should go HID, or whatever. I just need to swap out my headlights with a set I got on eBay. How many screws/hooks are there on a '00 GP GT? I took a quick look with the hood up and saw two bolts that look like they need to removed, in addition to the light connections of course. Is there anything else?

Nope, just two 10mm bolts.

Make sure when you install the new ones that the tabs line up correctly (pay attention when you remove the old ones) or they'll vibrate like crazy. There should be two tabs, one on each side of the light, that slide into metal slots in the bodywork.

Also, there's a harness that connects the main harness to the turn signals. You'll probably have to remove this from the old headlight and reuse it. Just unscrew the long (about 4") screw from the bracket and the headlight assembly comes apart so you can get it out.

Congrats! Once you get them aimed you'll notice a huge difference over the old clouded ones.

I slammed them in to pass inspection. I did have to reuse the harness, and I couldn't get the back tabs hooked in on one side. I'll have to finagle them when I get the car back. I just wanted to get it passed inspection so I can legally drive it.
