I would be in on tail lights if they were the right price. Hopefully they can tweek the headlights for better light output

Have been reading these comments for the past few months just waiting for a good deal to pop up! Was just about to finally buy the Halo Projectors (smoke version) but am still skeptical about the output.. i have 10k HID's right now and they pretty dim from the drivers view to begin with. Hope there is some recent news someone can share about good prices (+shipping).

I have 6000k HID kits in the high, low and driving lights. Just the direct replacement kits. I love the ammount of light i get from them. My buddy at work purchased the chrome projectors and they have a crystal clear lens pictured at the beginning of the thread and they came with 6000k bulbs for the low beams. Not sure what size bulbs they are. The light output (or at least by what i can see) is nowhere near what mine is with stock reflector lens. He is extremly dissapointed. He thought he was going to 1 up me. I personally love the way they look but as far as function they need some improvement.

might as well discontinue the original design, putting a bad product on the market is not cool

As for as I know DashZ said they is nothing in the works to correct the current issue, nor any plans to come out with a different set up

The CCFL halo projector headlights is in stock now, only chrome and black housing available.
They are the same design though, with the CCFL Halo Rings on.

Has the fitting issue been fixed?

ya, i will stick with my retro build. Ya, it cost a little more and requires some time and effort to create. The final product will be awesome light output and will be 1 of a kind to an extent. Once someone comes out with a good set I may change later. I don't care how good something looks, if it does not have good performance- it is out. Nothing against DASH, i would hold off on these lights till they get a new design.

Im also interested in an update. I just got me a set of the Black tails and love them. However, I want to make sure these are good quality parts before I buy. Dash please update with any news of revamping

are these more expensive now that they have the ccfl halos? and is there going to be a group buy coming up on these? i am definitely interested...

i was researching these on eBay, and found out that you can wire these to make the halos in the DRL's, which is HUGE for us guys that run HID's in our cars right now. i HATE having to turn off the headlights on the turn signal stalk every time i start the car. stupid 04+

OK, these have the ccfl halo rings. So what. I do not think thay have done anything to the projectors. If they have not then the light output is horrible. Unless you are purchasing the headlights just to look cool and not driving at night I would wait till they update the projectors. When they are compariable to the Morimoto's i would be interested.

The LED tail lights work great and i would recommend them.

my headlights are starting to get so hazy that i need to get new headlights, and i really like the look of these, but i need good light output!

well just buff the ones you have now. i did mine and they look like new. That will hold you over till there are better projector lights for sale.
