does my car have variable assist power steering

hi i need to replace my ps hose and want to know how to tell if my car has variable assist the car is a 2001 grand prix gt

if you have magnasteer, where the steering shaft goes into the rack beside that there will be a black box with some wires going into it. If you don't have magnasteer, it won't have that box.
