    Default core charge

hey dave is there any difference if i send you a core rather than buying a complete trans from you? i can get a trans with the same trans code as the one thats in my car its a BCB trans code i can pick up a spare for around 250. or would i be better off just buying on from you instead of shipping the core?

That is fine if you want to send in a core that you supply but keep in mind you have to factor in freight costs to ship it to me. I charge $175 one-way for freight shipping, so if you pay $250 for a core plus $175 that will put you up to $425. I charge $300 for a core fee, so you are paying $125 less to use a core that I have. Also keep in mind if you send your old core back within 30 days you will recieve the $300 back minus freight costs, so the most you would get back is $125 and that is only IF the transmission case, side cover, differential, and diff housing are all in good usable condtion. If any of those items are damaged then that will come off of the core return credit.
