Theres a doorman part number, its 47065. Look for it in the "HELP!" section at your parts store.

Edit: Nice one minichopper... even found a pic. Made in China FTW!

    Get the GM ones!!!!!!!

Let me tell you why... I donno if this is the case now but the Help elbows have had known problems in the past (look it up on ClubGP). Oddly enough I didn't find out about this till a month or so after doing a few side jobs on some cars. I put those Elbows on my Black car because I was doing the LIM, and I did the Elbows on my brother in laws car because I replaced the valve cover gaskets. I did both cars within the same day of each other. A little over a year to the date I put those bastards in, the upper one started dripping on both cars! Needless to say, I had to do them both over again. After reading a good thread on ClubGP I went to the dealer and bought them this time around. My white one has had the elbows replaced (with GMs) for over 5 years now, I have yet to have a problem with them.

Moral of the story... If you want to be like me and several others on ClubGP who purchased these "Help" elbows and have to replace them months later, get em. If you want ones that will work for years of trouble free use, get the GMs. There only a few bucks more and will save you buying coolant again.

I know you're thinking, How do you **** up making elbows, I donno. But I PERSONALLY suspect a problem with the o-rings themselves. Although both sets I pulled out showed nothing odd, I did noticed the orings where flat and IMO didn't hold up like they should.

The trick is that when installing these plastic pieces is that the holes are perfectly clean, and I'm not sure how many people go throught the trouble of sanding the corrosion out of the bores. The reason is if the tubes do not slip in easy with oil coating the 0-ring, there will be stress on the plastic and they will break/crack in the groove for the o-ring. Also they must be free to move a little after the bracket is installed so as not to create extra force on the cheap plastic part during temperature cycling. If you are not able to wiggle them a little after installed, you might have a problem later. I installed the plastic ones on my car after replacing my LIM gaskets. I used the thoery I stated above and have not had a problem yet, but I probably just jinksed my self, LOL.
I figued if they break again, they really are not that hard to change, and then I will have to make or buy better ones.

the upper ones from "HELP" aren't exactly 90 deg like the GM ones (they're off a degree or two). Not sure that's why they fail in time but that's what I saw when I put the "HELP" one ontop of the GM replacement I bought.

If they aren't in the help area. Ask them to order you a set.
