    Default Carbon Fiber???

I remember finding a stock-style cf hood and spoiler before, but I can't locate them again for the life of me!!!! I'm not much into scoops.... the superduty spoiler, I could live with, but I'd prefer a CF version of the stock one. Anyone have any idea where I can find these?

Do you want an actual CF hood or just the look? You can wrap your stock hood if you just want the look.

03 GTP...Its got pulleys and stuff.

Lol... I want actual carbon fiber pieces. I'm aware that a large number of people don't like the look of bare CF, but I love the look. I'll get them wrapped if I must... I'll most likely also be wrapping my roof if I don't install a sliding rag or sunroof. As far as rice... eh, possibly, but my vehicles are known for being loud as opposed to fast. I'm more of a car audio guy, although the cheapest turbo kit at zzp.com has caught my eye....

    Carbon Fiber your roof??? RICE!!.

Lol, how is wrapping my roof in carbon fiber rice? I guess different people have different definitions. I would paint it black, as I like the way that looks, but the carbon fiber weave looks much better than black paint imo. In any case, as I said, I go for loud, not fast, and I like the way it looks I agree that the sliding rag roof would be interesting, but I'd rather install a sunroof from a stock gp simply for purpose of rigidity. I like the fact that I can flex my vehicle when I turn the music up, but after a while turning sound energy into mechanical energy via moving panels in the vehicle becomes irritating. However, it's definitely still a possibility.

You should make a member's rides thread, with some pics of your car! I would like to see it to make suggestions, you know.

I said it's rice because unless you're driving $200,000 sports car, a carbon fiber roof on a gp isn't really believable. Whatever though, post pics, theres a couple guys on here with some impressive audio.

To answer the original question, I don't think any company makes a full cf stock hood. The PFYC hood isn't even full CF, it just has a CF skin.

My opinion on CF, it looks better if it's just a vinyl because a good vinyl doesn't yellow.

Doing the roof CF isn't ricey, its euro. Either way your car is a domestic and I don't think it would look too good. That being said, if you do the hood, get some roof rails and cover them in CF vinyl. That'd look good IMO.

I use this train of thought when it comes to aesthetic mods. Unless it looks like it could have come on the car from the factory, it doesn't belong.

i guess as long as your not trying to pass your car off as a lambo then its not truly ricey. but man if youre not gna try to make it quick just do the wrap. its not worth the money.

kieth do you have closer pics of your roof? did you get CF, or are you saying the Gray-ish color looks like CF?

My buddy has a vinyl shop and for a show they wrapped a 2010 Maxima in Matte Black with Carbon Fiber accents (mirrors, hood, spoiler) and left the chrome handles, grille, wheels, etc... stock. Looked really clean for a stock car.

This is what you need to keep in mind. Carbon fiber by itself on white, at least in a large area like the whole hood, tends to look out of place. But when done right... can be very clean. For instance, get a CF Cowl hood or the CF SD hood and vinyl most of the top white to match and leave the scoops, or cowl, or make something showing the Carbon Fiber thru, just not the whole hood by itself.

For consideration of what I mean, the following hood is a full Carbon Fiber, 1 of 5 made by Intense... you can't get them anymore, just an example of fine showing off of Carbon Fiber... notice the hood is white, but the underside is all CF and the Heat Extractors are showing CF... very clean, very subtle, all the benefits
