Car starts then as its about to Idle, car shuts off

soo i have a 2000 GTP i went to go start my car today and move it and started i moved it about 2 feet then it died...ive tried starting multiple times after that and still wont stay running......i turn it on then right before its about to idle it turns off....any ideas of what could be causing this problem

Sounds like a fuel issue.. I actually just replace the fuel pump in my GTP cause it would run until the car warmed up then just shut off and i'd have to wait a while and it would start again and run.. so far its good

might be a CPS too.

yea what im thinking it is a couple things...02 sensor,fuel filter, fuel pump, fuel pump resistor, CPS, or PCM..any other ideas of what it could be?

I recently had a similar issue.

Car would start, but then shut off. If I pressed on the gas pedal it would stay on, but the rpm would jump up/down. Was driveable, but had powerloss and eradic RPMs. The issue was a broken (top of housing fell apart when removed) MAP-Barometric Pressure Sensor.

Replaced it ($68) and all is good.

Had my car checked on a diagnostic an now its the MAF sensor. it will idle unless u rev it up when the RPMs drop it falls on its face
