car reving at 4000 rpm

when i put it in neutral and i rev my car up it does a non stop rev and it sounds like "ni ni ni ni ni ni". idk why it does this it sounds like a rice burner. geeze it should have anothers 3000 rpm's to go.

if you guys know why it does this id like to know.

yyyyeah, the rev limiter kicks in at 4000 rpm in park and neutral. Not sure why you would want to go higher then that in those anyway But hey now you know!!

yea i know now. but i was just wondering. =b

i wouldent keep bouching it off the limiter either. when you do that it cuts fuel and that could also lead to a bang.

i think the "boom" sound they make is the coolest sound , i just hate it doesnt last as long as the "ni ni ni ni ni" sound..
