    Exclamation Braking Issue

Got a problem with my '01 Grand Prix. Just got new front brakes, rotors, and outer tie rod ends. The issue is when I am turning AND braking at the same time everything shutters real bad. Slow speeds I am fine, braking while the wheel is straight is fine also. Even taking turns at 50+mph WITHOUT braking is nice and smooth...what could cause a really bad shake while turning AND braking..steering wheel shakes and all...I am stumped. Any thoughts would be appriciated. Thanks!

Might be a bad axle and or you may want to check your lug nut torque. When you turn, the rotors do flex to a degree

If Dave feels 60% throttle is 100%, what does he tell his wife.

Well, we though maybe CV shaft, but checked them, they are solid, lug is good also. This is a lot more than "a little" the whole car shakes and shutters, the steering wheel shakes like mad and quite frightening because its hard to control like that...could it possibly be calibers at this point, they are the only part of the brake system that has never been replaced, not to mentioned, none of this started till the new stuff was installed, it was fine before except for a slight braking shimmy any time brakes were applied due to the old rotors being warped and grooved.

A bad CV joint can feel solid. But it gets a lot of stress put on it when you are turning and braking hard.

Also, you said you changed outer tie rod ends. Are the inner good?

Jack up the car adn put it in neutral, turn the wheels all one way and turn the tire by hand. Any odd feeling?

Just to update those of you who helped with this...the issue was bad rotors...they were brand new, but defective. Had the old rotors turned, put them back on and its like butter!
