Brake Bore Inlet Size

Hey guys. I'm going to buy new Monte Carlo calipers and brackets, with new 12" rotors, as I want to upgrade my brakes. I know I don't need the calipers, but mine are old and worn out, and wayyyy too rough of a surface to powdercoat. I saw RockAuto has Raybestos professional grade calipers. They have 2 different styles of semi-loaded calipers. They have a 1.5" bore inlet and a 2.5" bore inlet. Is a bigger bore better? The 2.5" one is cheaper. I'm a little confused. Thanks.

1.5" is rear.

2.5" is front.
