Steps

For DRIVERS side axle seal replacement
-Jack up the drivers side of the car only and put a jackstand under the cradle. Leaving this side only jacked up will help keep trans fluid from running out when you remove the axle.
-Remove the drivers front wheel
-Loosen and remove 32/36mm axle nut
-Unplug the wheel speed sensor plug located directly behind the axle
-Remove cotter pin from lower ball joint castle nut
-Remove lower ball joint nut, 18mm wrench
-With a pickle fork and hammer crack loose the ball joint
-Not necessary but I like to loosen the sway bar end link to take the tension off of the sway bar.
-Take a long bar of some type and pry down the lower control arm to get the ball joint out of the steering knuckle
-Carefully push/tap the axle in through the wheel bearing/knuckle while pulling the steering knuckle away. Turning the steering wheel all the way to the RIGHT will give you more working room as this pushes the tie rod out further and is easier to work with.
-Now that the steering knuckle is out of the way the axle should be free and you can pry it out. This sometimes is a pain to do! Have a small drain pan handy in case some fluid leaks out. Take a pry bar and get behind the inner axle and sharply SMACK the end of the prybar. If you just pry on the axle it wont come out and you will get aggrevated quickly!!! There is a snap ring holding it in place and you need a quick sharp force to pop it free. Sometimes you can get in with a long prybar and hit it with a hammer to crack it loose. Once loosened up pull the axle out. IF the long skinny output shaft in the trans is coming out with the axle STOP! Pop it back into place and try again as you DO NOT want to try to remove the inner output shaft!
-With the axle removed you can take the old seal out which can carefully be done a few ways. You can either use an axle seal removal tool and pry it out or carefully take a wide flat blade screwdriver and hammer and very carefully get under the edge of the seal at a very low angle and hit the seal until it folds in and is loose.
-To install a new seal it can be tricky because the output shaft inside the trans is right in the middle. You can tap around the outer edge of the seal evenly, be careful as they bend easy, OR you can find a very large socket the same size as the outer ring of the seal and put it on with that. There are special drivers for this but are not easy to find and are generally special order items unless you know someone that has one.
-Installation in reverse order of above

I hope this gives you a good idea of what is involved for the seal install, if you have any questions ask away!
