Will I have any problems running aftermarket 6x9s off the stock rear amp? i'm a little concern as I don't know if replacing the 2ohm bose speakers with 4ohm aftermarket speakers will cause sound or performance problems. Any help appreciated

You sure the factories are 2 ohms?
And there'd be no issues, just slightly less power availible.
although this will work, the stock headunit will lack the power to get the best sound from the aftermarket 6x9's... it will sound better than the stock speakers for sure
Best route would be to get an aftermarket headunit and an amp
Ya either run them off an aftemarket deck or get a 4 channel to run them properly
2000 2dr. black GTP|Headers|3.1"|xp'ed|ported s/c|HPT & aem wb|3.29's built trans|19° timing|0°KR
Turbo/heads /big cam build starts soon!!!
The bose deck has its own EQ built in to make the most of the bose speakers...
