I didn't even bother buying a new deflector. i just cleaned mine up and secured it with some glue. Haven't had a problem since. My car (04) came with the in-cabin-filter. It was loaded with nasty stuff... so if yours has that, please make sure to replace it. Much longer and mine would have probably made me sick.
