Default Re: Dual zone climate control

Checked the system pressures on my guages and added half pound of freon to system. Passenger side vents at 40 degrees and driver's at 75 degrees. Pulled off actuator and worked door by hand, actuator OK and door moves freely full range. Determine foam seal on temp door deteriorated allowing hot air from heater core into driver's side vents. Proper repair would be to remove heater box, disassemble and reseal temperature door. Customer opted for cheaper fix pinch off heater hose to block flow to heater core until the end of summer.
