well i was in the same boat as you seriously this will solve your issue.... Ok i heard about the recall and called my local GM dealer up. i said i would like the recall done on my GTP soon they said no problem. I said can i bring her in today. they said let me shedule you an appointment............ how does 3 pm sound. duh i said ok and i asked him this is all free and covered by GM correct. the awnser was yes then my jaw hit the floor and was excited haha new parts for free NICE. anyways it took about a hour and a half to get her back but she got the new gasket and DONE. so just call ur local GM dealer "you trust and go from there and shedule an appointment.
