I would be curious about this one, you better inspect this to make 100% sure it is a molded metal/rubber OE style replacement. It could be a misprint and is a black cork/rubber style side cover gasket for a 4T60E. Would be great to see something come out cheaper but none of my parts suppliers have had anything other than the original type and they are not cheap.

It's probably a low quality rubber that degrades is a couple of years causing a leak.

That would be great. Heck, I'd replace them as part of any work with teh side cover if they are that cheap.

Advance has some funky stuff between their online pricing and in store pricing. I'm a commercial acct there and yet, can buy cheaper online. Add in the discounts like Dave mentioned and you can save piles.

Anyone want another good one. Get a lower conversion gasket set (fel pro) when in need of an oil pan gasket. It's cheaper to buy the whole kit than just a pan gasket.

I've never had any issues with felpro. they are quality gaskets

I will have to look into it a bit more and try to order one. The 4T60E also used a molded metal/rubber side cover gasket and those are cheaper in general so hopefully it is not an incorrect application problem. It would definately be great to see these a lot cheaper than what is available from trans parts suppliers and dealers.

there is no shipping with advance auto. you just go to the store and pick it up once you do the transaction online. plus you can use their discount code and get it for the same price as rock auto. I googled advance auto promotion discounts and used the one that obviously is the best discount .
