4T60 part identification help...

This is a discussion on 4T60 part identification help... within the 1984 - early 1990's 4 Speed Automatic (440T4)(4T60) forums, part of the Transmissions category; The part that is circled in red on the picture... What is it? Should it be loose in the trans? ...

    Default 4T60 part identification help...

    The part that is circled in red on the picture... What is it? Should it be loose in the trans? How to I remove it properly? Thank you, lol.

    That would be the wiring harness connector. It can be a little loose. It sits into an area. Not sure how it sits in place. might be a push in with tabs, might slide into the casing. On the 4T65 it pokes through a hole from behind and the cover and case hold it in place. The 60 has it coming forward....I've never ripped one apart and paid any attention on the 60.


    If Dave feels 60% throttle is 100%, what does he tell his wife.
