You cant really make the factory stuff look "cooler" for say...you can make it look different though.
Examples, I have seen some mount a 3rd brake light, such as an LED light bar inside the spoiler before and have it flush mounted.
I have also seen some take the stock spoiler and put it on spacers, and elevating the spoiler off the trunk lid...like with 3-4" hollow poles/rods.
don't know about the last one honestly. Its different for sure.
