call your local Highway Patrol and ask what the visability limits are on tail lights. Got pulled over about 3 months ago and he said mine were border line. He showed me the state law book that has the guidelines for them and i think it was something like 1000ft. without brake and it lowers to 500 feet with the brake pressed.
