give it all to one person to hold onto untill we need it I figure we if we reach out and contact various companys we can get a few sponsors to give us a few bucks and some small freebies and maybe some bigger give aways that we could raffle off

but its not that expensive to get adds posted on peoples websites we need to expand this to more than just are fourm

I also think we need to contact GM norwalk is close enough that it wouldn't be much work for them at all to bring the old concept cars down for everyone to look at

contacting companys get free stickers books and hats, thats not hard. getting the concepts out of the archive might be tricky lol.

lol yeah that's what i was referring to...getting GM to do something. that would be a PITA

it's been done before I'm not saying it's easy or even likely but GM wants its hands in aftermarket event they know how many 3800s are out there and they know they can still make a lot of money off of the platform even tho its dead

I honestly think if we get our **** together and come up with a real solid plan and get the word out everywhere you can make something happen we need to talk to everyone tho no haiting on this group or that just because their there does't mean you have to party with them so invite the chicago garage and all the other groups

Invite all the suppliers and big wigs if you get one company there others will want to get their foot in the door

I will email am soil and see if I can get some hats and shirts. I could also get Budweiser to make us a banner or two, my dad manages a gas station here and had them make them banners for my sisters grad. Will also talk with autozone since I work there and see what we can get done.

Any more posts about it being dumb and too far will be deleted from now on

Ok i made another thread that is also stuck and locked to keep track of who is doing what in just a few post for easy reading.

so are we going to tell these company their logo will be on the back of a t- shirt or somthing?

Any body got a hook up with a local print shop? Maybe see if we can get places to buy a spot on a shirt and we can get shirts made.

Theres a Marriot hotel 15 miles from the track my dad does close to 50k in sales to the biggest Marriot in the tristate area every year can't promise anything at all but he might be able to hook us up with a super sweet deal so I'll talk to him about it and see

Maybe we can all get on teh same floor this time........

maybe have someone incharge of all the hotel stuff and everyone sends in money ahead of time to that person then they book all the rooms at once so theres no confusion there

Hotel rooms should be done individually due to possible extra costs in case something is broken in the room at time of check out.
