1999 N/A 81k

New to forum and found it cuz we're having problems. Bought this 1999 3.8l N/A w/81k on it and it has been great car for an older used car. That is until yesterday. Wife was taking me to work and right after we gort 6 blocks from home (from cold start) the car stalled and wouldn't start. Brought it a shop and they called and said it started and ran fine, couldn't find anything wrong (stored codes etc.) Hopefully I can find some help here.

could be a bad crank sensor. they never seem to throw a code.

Meant to put 181k in the title. Wish it only had 81k. I've heard crank sensor, fuel pump resistor and ground strap connection.
I'll start with the least expensive fix and work my way up to get rid of it. I'd like to figure out what's wrong because i like the car.
