Heh.. might have something to do with it. Being modded period. And actually he didn't get cruise timing raised much over stock so I'm shocked it gets that.
i can get 32 mpg at 75 easy, on flat ground as well. stock. but around town it drinks gas. 14 mpg tops.

Yeah and the 32 lasts for what 1000 feet before the road inclines again and your back to 28-30. If only all roads were flat as can be, it be easy to see 35 at faster speeds.

Do a pan drop and filter change with a bottle of lucas should help your trans a lot. You could add a shift kit while you're in there.

No, it needed a pan drop and a filter replacement.
Flushing the trans killed it.
Because all that old fluid that was never touched was holding all the hard parts together.
You flushed out the glue, and now it's a ticking time bomb.
