While the interface isnt a touch screen, I can play all the music, play by artist, genre, album, etc. Its got a built in FM tuner, which I really havent used but its there. Its probably about the size of a Compact Flash card, runs absolutely forever on a charge. I can listen to it throughout the week without having to charge it up. And the sound it just simply unbeatable. To top it off, I got both me and the wife one for well under $100. I could have bought the 2Gb version, but heck the 1Gb holds more than I can listen to as it is let alone trying to fill up a 40Gb, 60Gb or more MP3 player.
I just simply looked at how I thought I would use one (never owned a MP3 player until Christmas) and just decided that the Apple MP3 players were WAY more than I would ever use. Furthermore I have a 120Gb USB portable HDD that I use everyday at work and home that I can keep any MP3's on and play through the PC when I get some down time outside of lunch. And every MP3 I own packed on that hard drive only totals up to less than 15Gb. |
All you have is 15GB of music? Wow. I have an external 500gb drive i store all mine on and I have like 115GB last I checked and still don't have all the music i want. I like the Ipod and my Clarion has an interface built into it if i buy the 100.00 adapter to make it work. I just don't use mine enough. I have an mp3/cd player. I just put what i want on disk.
BTW you can drag and drop with Itunes too.
